About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Assistant to manage a state-of-the-art Transformer Oil Testing Lab for our esteemed client in Tanzania. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced diagnostic equipment and contribute to ensuring the reliability and efficiency of critical power sector assets. With infinite future growth prospects, this position is ideal for someone passionate about electrical testing and laboratory operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA) to detect and diagnose faults in transformer oil.

  • Perform Furan Analysis to assess the degradation of transformer insulation.

  • Test Oil Acidity to monitor the chemical stability and performance of insulating oils.

  • Operate and maintain the Karl Fischer Titrator for precise moisture content determination.

  • Prepare oil samples, follow standard testing procedures, and document all results accurately.

  • Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of lab equipment.

  • Analyze test results and prepare detailed technical reports.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized lab environment.

  • Collaborate with engineers and technical staff to interpret data and recommend actions.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in transformer oil testing or similar laboratory environments.

  • Familiarity with DGA, Furan Analysis, Oil Acidity tests, and Karl Fischer testing methods.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and data recording accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Effective communication skills for reporting and client interactions.

Customer Support Engineer - Electrical Testing Equip.

Gurgaon , Bangalore 

We are a close-knit team of electrical engineers supplying and supporting our high-tech solutions in field of electrical testing and measuring equipment.  We are looking for a self motivated Customer Support Engineer with below profile.

  • Shall be capable of having technical discussions  with customers and backing the sales team ,   Competition Study , Customer Tracing etc. 

  • Computer Savvy and capable of coordinating webinars, Ms Office Reporting , editing Technical Manuals & Data-sheets  etc. 

  • Shall have basic knowledge in all electrical equipment such as ,Transformers, HV /MV and LV Switchgear, circuit breakers, earthing system, Lightning Arresters , Relays etc.

 

Knowledge of below subjects will be an advantage -:

  • CT / PT Testing Equipment

  • Relay Testing Equipment

  • Transformer Testing Equipment

  • Circuit Breaker Testing Equipment

  • Earth Testing

You'll work in an office environment, but will frequently travel within the day for face-to-face meetings with customers and other business partners. You will be involved in technical discussions, product trainings and application support.
